Product Description - LPJ-600SP - Cooper Bussmann Low Voltage Fuse
LPJ-600SP is a low peak LPJ Class J fuse produced by Cooper Bussmann with non-indicating, dual element and time delay characteristics. The main parameters and characteristics of this fuse are as follows:
- Rated current: 600A
- Rated voltage: Suitable for AC 600V or DC 300V
- Breaking capacity: Up to 300kA at 600V voltage and up to 100kA at 300V voltage. This means that this fuse can effectively interrupt the current up to the specified value when a short circuit or overload occurs in the circuit, protecting the circuit and equipment from damage.
- Type: Low peak LPJ Class J, this fuse is designed to handle situations with short-term high current peaks, such as motor starting, while providing a time delay characteristic to reduce nuisance tripping caused by short-term overloads.
- Non-indicative: This fuse has no visual or mechanical indicator to show whether the fuse is blown, so other means (such as circuit testing) are required to check the status of the fuse.
- Dual-element: A dual-element design is used, which usually combines a fast-responding silver alloy element with a slower-responding copper or tin alloy element to provide more precise current control and better overload protection.
- Time delay: The time delay feature allows the fuse to not blow immediately under short-term current fluctuations or overload conditions, but wait for a certain period of time to confirm whether there is a continuous overload or short circuit condition, thereby reducing unnecessary fuse blowing.
- Certification: It has been certified by UL (Underwriters Laboratories of the United States) and CSA (Canadian Standards Association) for use in low-voltage circuits, ensuring the safety and reliability of the product.
In summary, the LPJ-600SP is a fuse designed for low-voltage circuits that require high breaking capacity and time-delay protection. It is widely used in electrical systems in industrial, commercial and residential fields, especially in motor control, power distribution and overload protection.
Eaton-Bussmann –
LPJ-600SP, as a model of Cooper Bussmann’s low-voltage fuse, has demonstrated excellent performance in the fields of motor control and power distribution with its 600A high breaking capacity, dual-element precise protection and time delay characteristics, providing a safe and reliable protection barrier for low-voltage circuits. It is the preferred choice for industrial, commercial and residential electrical systems.
